Apocalypse....kinda.....

Well, this Saturday, STILL didn't have much painted, but the gameday was interesting this time. While were waiting for other people to show up, and as the tables gradually started to dwindle due to Flames of War, and D&D players, with not enough tables for equal teams, we decided to have a 7 person apocalypse-like-battle.

Starting from bottom left in a clockwise motion, we'll start with my Salamanders in progress. Next is Koi's *don't know how to spell his name* Ultramarines i believe 4th company colors, the red trim. next is my girlfriend's Nid army. next to her is Robert with his NID army, he is the one setting up. In the upper right is EJ with his eldar army.....further down was Lamant with his chaos army , and finally bottom right is my girlfriend's brother's *josh* chaos army.

Next are just some random pics of the fight......my hands are shaky and it was with my cellphone.

My girlfriend's *jenny* Hive tyrant *which i modded for her*
She did amazingly well for it being her first actual fight......her biovores took out 4 out of 5 *origianlly 6* of lamants terminators in one go after he rolled 4 1's for their armor saves.....



Since it was just a normal saturday at The Hobbit, we only managed to get 4 rounds done cause it took us some time to set up and get everythign straightened out. We all took a good amount of casualties, i must say the winner has to be Koi....his ultramarines suffered an AMAZING amount of 4 infantry..........he had Jenny with her nids next to him, she seemed to focus only on the chaos though, so they had this weird unspoken treaty there, while he also had 2 chaos in front of him. Because i forgot to mention, the team were as follows

Team 1 : Koi and his ultramarines
Me *james* with my Salamanders

Team 2: Robert with his nids
and Jenny with another entire army of unpainted nids as well

Team 3: Josh and his chaos
Lamant with moar CHAOS
and EJ with his eldar which did good dispite the Nid assault.





ALSO ! while i was at the hobbit, i picked myself up another Reaper miniature to paint.....space marines and Nids get old quick....................

Princess of Hell

Just made this blog today, so I'll see how this works out. I play space marines and used to have all generic Ultramarines *it's been about a year now since i started 40k* and since 5th edition came out, i decided i liked Salamanders. Apart from that....i build...most if not all, and then paint some of my Girlfriend's Nid army. so i practically run two armies. *a picture of my most recent Salamander, still in the process of stripping the paint from all of the Ultramarines. need to paint the rocks still, which are made from Green stuff, i also need to close the gap in the jaws of the lizard. i am using Lizardmen Regiments from Warhammer fantasy to outfit my Salamanders.
Nothing special today except for that i assembled some Ripper Swarms from my girlfriend's Nid army. I'll try to get A LOT of my Salamander army painted before next Saturday's Warhammer day at the local Hobby Shop.
